The image of the Immaculate Mother, Mary of the Immaculate Conception, the Patroness of our Congregation, is given here a place of honor. On the four corners the following are inscribed:

  • Upper right corner : A dove with rays - symbol of the Holy Spirit;
  • Upper left corner : The symbol of the Blessed Trinity with the Hebrew word “Yahweh”;
  • Lower right corner : The shield of Archangel Michael, Warrior of God, with the words Quis ut Deus which means Who is like God;
  • Lower left corner : he coat of arms of the Franciscan Order: two crossed arms, the arm of Christ and that of St. Francis of Assisi at the middle is the San Damiano cross.
  • As a whole, it is enfolded with the name of the Congregation in Latin: Sororum Franciscalium ab Immaculata Conceptione a Beata Matre Dei.
